SOFFA - In Person

It's often said that when a loved one transitions, everyone around them transitions too. PFLAG Denver's SOFFA group acknowledges that sometimes those closest to a transgender, nonbinary, or gender nonconforming person may need assistance to better provide support. Regardless of where you are on your allyship journey, our peer-led groups provide brave space for you to adapt and develop expanded capacities of empathy and understanding. Through each other's stories, we gain perspective, we hold accountability, and we celebrate joys. We learn coping strategies that can foster personal growth and resilience so that we may better support our loved ones. The collective insights and shared strength found in SOFFA can help individuals navigate their difficulties with increased emotional support and a sense of community, ultimately contributing to their overall well-being and healing journey.

Though prior registration IS NOT required to attend in-person support groups, it does help our facilitators plan the space accordingly. If you do not register beforehand, please still attend. There will be a sign-in sheet available at the session.
