Help PFLAG Denver Show Up in Our Community
PFLAG Denver is looking for volunteers to help staff our table at community events, Pride celebrations, festivals, and other gatherings throughout the Denver metro area.
As a tabling volunteer, you’ll help welcome attendees, share information about PFLAG Denver, distribute resources, answer general questions, and connect LGBTQIA+ people, families, and allies with our programs and community. You may also help with setting up and breaking down the table before and after the event.
No special experience is required. We’ll provide the information and materials you need. We’re simply looking for friendly, welcoming volunteers who are comfortable talking with people and helping create an affirming space.
What you’ll do:
Welcome attendees and engage with community members
Share information about PFLAG Denver, including support groups, resources, and volunteer opportunities
Distribute PFLAG materials and educational resources
Answer general questions and help people find the appropriate PFLAG resource or connection
Help keep the table organized and welcoming
Assist with setup and breakdown as needed
Whether you’ve volunteered with PFLAG before or this is your first time, we’d love to have you join us. Your presence helps PFLAG Denver build community, increase visibility, and make sure LGBTQIA+ people and their loved ones know that support is available.
